You see I am not good at saying goodbyes so I will say until I see you again. Goodbyes have always been hard for me. It is like closing a door I am not ready to close. And yet, here we are almost 3 months after arriving that we are having to say goodbye, no no no, until we see you again.

One of my all time favorite parts of living on the road so far are the people we meet. We came to Topsail Sound RV park on March 7th with all intentions of leaving a week later. The pandemic hit and our plans drastically changed. While I am so sad, they changed I am thankful as well. We got to spend almost 3 months with my mother in law, which the boys have never had an extended time with her. We also met some AMAZING people. Topsail Sound RV park became our home and the “locals” (the ones that live here full time or are here for the pandemic) became friends and like family. Mike picks on me and says I have a new bestie and I am ok with that. Megan is a mom of the sweetest little girl and immediately we hit it off. It has been so nice to have another mom my age to relate to me and discuss different motherly topics with. A friendship that hopefully will last a lifetime was made.

The “locals” have asked when we are leaving and why we must leave. Short answer…..because we have to make some money ha. Thankfully, this isn’t a goodbye because we had already booked the month of September when we thought we would only be here for a week. So, like it or not Topsail Sound RV park the Morrison’s will be back!!! Thank you for having us for almost 3 months and for making our boys feel welcome and at home. Thank you to the community for showing kindness and thoughtfulness in these uncertain times. It is time for us to move on but we will be back and I can’t wait to see you all again in a few short months!!!
