As a general rule of thumb we try not to eat out often, especially now that I have Alpha-Gal Syndrome.  So that means I get to cook every night.  At least I can plan out healthy meals and know exactly what we are putting into our bodies.  But with that comes more packing then just the clothes and such.  I try to menu plan before I start packing so that I know exactly what kitchen utensils, pans, bowls, measuring dishes, knives, and such I will need while we are gone.  I also have to assess the situation and know exactly what I am going to have to cook on or in, or do I need to bring my own cooking appliances. If we are camping and there isn’t a kitchen handy then I plan my meals on a camping stove or the skottle. But if we are going to be staying somewhere that has a bare kitchen that I can use then I will plan out meals to use the oven and stove top.  All the while I have to put all of my kitchen stuff in one small clear bin because it will have to fit nicely in the back of the truck behind the dog crates.  Ha, packing the back of the truck is a blog for another day!!!

  • Skottle

It was turkey sausage but this picture/meal was before Alpha-gal. So no idea if I could eat it now or not
