Coach & Drive on The Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway- July 20, 2024

Join us for the day riding the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway, in your 4-wheel drive low range capable vehicle. This ride is a mix between a class and a trail ride. Mike, a certified I4WDTA (International Four Wheel Drive Trainer Association) trainer, will guide the ride giving instruction through out the ride, spotting as needed and instructing when recovery is needed.  Mike will be working individually with each driver to correct mistakes and further your off-road driving skills.  We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at Callies Campground for a quick driver’s brief and then hit the trails. We will end the day when we come off the trails 😊 Please make sure your vehicle is fueled and you have all the food and drinks (no alcohol) you will need for the day. Please do not air down your tires as we will do that once we are off the pavement. We will provide radios for every vehicle so that instructions can be heard in every vehicle. If you would like to camp on Friday and/or Saturday night, please contact Callies to do so. The cost is $175 per vehicle and space is limited.
